Tether stores reading progress, chapter and verse progress, XP, streaks, completion history, reminder preferences, and notification-related settings on your device.

Tether uses Mixpanel to collect analytics data about how the app is used, such as app opens, reading starts, chapter or chunk completions, streak events, device platform, app version, app environment, and similar usage information.

How We Use Information

• Provide the reading experience and save your progress.
• Send optional streak reminder notifications if you enable them.
• Understand app usage, improve performance, and improve features.

How Information Is Shared

• We may share analytics data with Mixpanel, our analytics service provider.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

On-device progress and reminder data remain on your device unless removed by you or deleted when the app is uninstalled or reset.

Analytics data may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for product analytics, operations, and app improvement.

Your Choices

You can disable notifications in your device settings.

You can contact us to ask privacy questions or request deletion of data we control. To process deletion requests for analytics data, we may need enough information to identify the relevant data.

Children's Privacy

Tether may be used by people of all ages, including children with parent or guardian permission.

Tether is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. The app stores reading progress and reminder settings on the device and uses analytics to understand app usage and improve the product.
